GRAMMY-nominated Dumont has amassed over 2 billion streams across his back-catalogue of previous anthems, scoring huge success with platinum-selling UK #1 singles “Need U (100%)” and “I Got U.” Dumont has also produced “Swish Swish” the from Katy Perry’s Prism album.
In the midst of a typically packed schedule, Duke Dumont has performed at a slew of high-profile festivals and clubs over the past few months, including HARD Summer, as well as his Las Vegas residency at Daylight Beach Club. With only two of his residency shows left to perform, Duke is now setting his sights to Europe, with upcoming dates in Ibiza and Barcelona, as well as UK festival favorite, Creamfields all before the end of Summer.
An accomplished artist in his own right, Zak Abel is a Moroccan-English singer, songwriter and musician who has previously worked with the likes of Gorgon City and the late Avicii.
Heralding a new chapter for Duke Dumont, “The Power” is sure to make an impact in the closing summer months, aligning itself as a modern-day dance classic.
Hailing from London, Duke Dumont was initially born deaf. With corrective surgery, it inadvertently shaped the way he interprets sounds, with tone and timbre taking precedence over words & lyrics and an appreciation for all things audio. Since then, Duke has proved that his cleverly crafted productions either become chart hits or infectious club records, boasting millions of plays across the globe.
Topping the billing on various stages worldwide, Duke’s audience is both defined and refined, with his DJ career starting in London, learning his craft at iconic institutions such as Fabric and Panorama Bar (Berlin) to name a few.
He has since branched out to numerous residences in Ibiza (Amnesia & Sankeys) and Las Vegas where Duke shares his philosophy; “The goal isn’t for record sales, or attention-grabbing tactics. It’s for how long my music can strike a chord with people by producing records with longevity.”
