Powered by guitar and bass over a hip-hop beat, Jutes dips between genres in the new song. Watch it HERE. “Start Over” arrives on the heels of a string of D.I.Y. bangers from Jutes. His total plays surpassed over 16 million on Spotify alone as he earned endorsements from tastemaker blogs like Earmilk and Elevator.
Jutes grew up on a farm in Kars, Ontario before making the jump to Toronto to attend film school. Shortly after, he dropped out to pursue music full-time. A rock kid at heart – influenced by bands of the late ‘90s and early ‘00s like Third Eye Blind and the Red Hot Chili Peppers – his style is a hybrid of alternative, pop-punk, and hip-hop. While fitting into today’s current genre-blending sound, Jutes stands out as a true artist with his emotionally honest lyrics, raw vocals, and alternative production over a knocking bass. Now based in LA, he is currently working on his major label debut EP.
