Clear Eyes is Jeremy Lloyd, who is one half of platinum-selling duo Marian Hill. Created as a production outlay beyond the well known sound of Marian Hill, songs like this delve into a creative process that’s extended two years.
For him, the Clear Eyes project is about a feeling of perspective — a moment when you can see everything from far away with a serene clarity. Both Drew and Lauren verses were written when they were really going through it. It’s about how vital it is to communicate your feelings in a relationship, even if it feels like doing so would put everything at risk.
Lauren Jauregui is an artist, singer, songwriter, creative and humanitarian. Having spent most of 2019 in the studio, writing and recording new music, the 23-year-old award-winning artist is ready to embark on her next chapter, with new music coming in early 2020. True to her artistic ethos, this next phase of Jauregui’s career finds her fully expressing her creativity in every aspect of her art, from writing songs to conceptualizing and editing her own music videos.
With millions of followers and fans across the world, Jauregui understands the power of her platform and her voice as a young member of society. As she gears up for the next chapter of her musical career, Lauren is making it her duty to continue her activism, imploring her fans to be vocal about their stances and always fight for human rights.
Drew Love is 1/2 of the R&B duo THEY. In addition to THEY. he’s built a solid foundation as a solo act featuring on tracks with the Chainsmokers, G-Eazy, Louis the Child and SG Lewis to name a few. He’s also a prominent writer working with the likes of Ty Dolla $ign, Wiz Khalifa, Jeremih, Kehlani and more.
“Feeling for Two”, the B-side to today’s single, is a window into the more experimental side of Clear Eyes, and sees Lloyd’s producing his first-ever primarily instrumental song.
