Little Monarch is a band of friends based in Venice, California led by singer, writer, and producer Casey Kalmenson. Drawing from diverse musical backgrounds the band enjoys exploring stories of hope, redemption, and good times against an ever evolving sonic backdrop. With touches of Cali sunshine always finding it’s way into the music.
Grains EP is a sunburnt collection of songs the group made in 2019. Collaborators on the project include Justin Andres, Lanita Smith, Nicholas Setter, Reade Pryor, and Ryan Marrone. This EP explores the spectrum of their sound; upbeat and whimsical with some moodier anthems finding their way into the mix. Got me Good is the lead track off the EP, a long distance love song to keep you warm through these winter months. Little Monarch headlined the San Francisco Coffee festival this fall, with plans to tour Spring-Summer 2020 in support of all the new music.
