Cleveland-based indie rock band Ottawa has just released the fresh, motivating tune we all need right now as we fight off feelings of helplessness and unproductivity during the Covid-19 quarantine.
It’s called “Plan of Attack”, and it feels super relevant as we all struggle to establish at-home schedules and get anything done.
“‘Plan of Attack’ is, to me, the most important song we’ve ever done. The message is, when you’re down to your absolute last strand of hope, just keep pushing forward, because that’s literally the only direction we have in life,” says frontman Dale DeLong.
Plenty of folks are trying to establish their own personal routine, or “plan of attack”, to feel grounded while sheltering at home.
“Plan of Attack” rounds out a trio of singles released this year that includes an acoustic cover of Crowded House’s 1986 classic “Don’t Dream It’s Over”, and “Stevie”, inspired by Stevie Nicks.
