The Glow, the new project of LVL UP and Double Double Whammy’s Mike Caridi, has shared a video for a new digital single titled “Beamer.” NPR, who premiered the video today is saying “The Glow’s first, stand-alone single ‘Beamer’ is reminiscent of LVL UP’s signature sound, with distorted vocals and fuzzy guitars; however, Caridi makes a left turn with the employment of Mellotron flutes, cellos, nylon string guitars and keyboards.” The Glow will release its debut full-length album in 2019.

ABOUT THE GLOW:
The Glow is the new musical project of Mike Caridi, one of the primary songwriters behind the now defunct indie rock outfit LVL UP. While musically The Glow has given Caridi the freedom to expand outwards, experimenting instrumentally, compositionally, and sonically; lyrically Caridi has focused inward. While “Beamer”, a song penned by Caridi in 2015, is the first glimpse of The Glow, a full length record is anticipated in 2019.
