Boiler Room will partner with Sadiq Khan to magnify the female talent in the capital with a night of specially curated music, as a part of the ‘Sounds Like London’ campaign on 27 June.
Taking place in London’s iconic City Hall with stunning views of the city’s skyline Boiler Room will champion the capital’s burgeoning grassroots music scene with live performances and DJ sets from a women’s only lineup consisting of Ray BLK, Jamz Supernova, Rina Sawayama, Flohio, Ellie Prohan and A.G.
The campaign is supported by multiple editorial pieces such as a global resource list to help those affected by sexual harassment and the release of ‘Common Misconceptions’, an animated film about sexual harassment in clubs, premiering 28 June.
Alongside ‘Sounds Like London’ Boiler Room will repost some of the most celebrated sets from women DJs who have performed on the platform over the years, including Amy Becker, Anna Wall, Kwasiba Savage, Donna Leake and Manara.
