(Phoeniz, AZ – October 21, 2022) Christopher Shayne releases his powerful anthemic rock single, “One More Round,” so that listeners can be reminded of the grit it takes to push past doubt and fear. Christopher is no stranger to confidence, but he’s only human. When life can seem utterly out of control, it’s the music that brings him back into focus and on his path.
“One More Round” is the perfect anthem to rise out of a global pandemic. We need music right now that will reset the breaker, so to speak. Christopher is the lead narrator in his visually adaptive piece.
The high-value production in his music video (linked above) brings his vision to life and touches on the symbolic nature of going another round. UFC fighter Kamuela Kirk makes an appearance while sparring in a ring in front of a live audience. Christopher Shayne and the band drive the lyrics home.
Without the visual, one might feel like you’re living in an episode of The Walking Dead as the headphones go on. Chris uses power vocals with tight hook melodies, stacked electric guitars, and lots of low-end to drive his narrative. The exceptional nature of the production feels like digging yourself out of life’s foreshadowing grave. Chris is literally crawling out of it.
“One More Round is about plowing through all those thoughts of self doubt, challenges, and darkness and trying again. It’s about picking yourself up and dusting off to give whatever you got in front of you another go,” Christopher says.
For listeners of Lynyrd Skynyrd, Blackberry Smoke, Kid Rock, Black Crowes, Rock, Southern Rock, Blues, Soul, Classic Rock, and all subgenres.
