Denny White is an inventive writer, producer and artist, hailing from the luminous desert valley of Hemet, California. Since moving to Los Angeles, White’s musical career propelled and he found himself playing alongside notable acts such as Young the Giant and Dawes. White has collaborated with One Republic’s Brent Kutzle on his debut EP Colors in 2013. He has also penned songs for The Fray with Julia Michaels, Lukas Graham, and house legend, Tiesto among others.
Saturated in bluesy cinematic aesthetics, White is now taking listeners on a new voyage forging ahead with his latest solo project. The highly anticipated upcoming release entitled “Torn Up”, highlights White’s soulful vocals over layered melodic synths, driving sampled beats and futuristic textures. “Torn Up” is a unique sonic landscape without reservation. Taking a fresh delivery to the electro-pop genre, White has crafted a vivid infectious song, embodying everything a hit single should be.
White finds his musical inspiration and creativity from becoming a new father and experiencing the reality of parenthood alongside his wife. White reveals, “It’s exciting and terrifying bringing a kid into this world and it’s brought a new perspective to everything, whether it’s nostalgic feelings of when I was a kid, or struggles with depression and how I need to be a better person for everyone around me”.
