By definition, Karelu is; ‘The mark something leaves on the skin when worn too tight’. The debut single from Lecister native Cj Pandit is launching hand in hand with a zine and photography exhibition. Karelu is something for all the senses.
Speaking more on the track CJ States; “Karelu is centred around appreciating past relationships, friendships and family dynamics with all their flaws, and moving forward and seeing beauty in the toughest of times. Celebrating relationships and the marks we make on one another, the items we keep and leave behind, and the stories they encapsulate.”
Pandits Interactive Art Exhibition will run for one week at The Mill, located on Leicester’s Frog Island from the launch date 15th November. The photos are in collaboration with friend and photographer Vzavz.
Sat on a wealth of indie leaning art-pop, Karelu is just the beginning. Expect great things from Cj Pandit.
