Today, Hey Violet debut the performance video for a special stripped-down version of their new single “Clean”. Watch the video HERE.
“This stripped performance video was so fun to shoot, says frontwoman Rena Lovelis. “We filmed the entire video in our home studio in the valley. Nia, Casey, and I actually went to the craft store and got candles, feather boas and whatnot to help with the art direction. it really came alive with the lighting.”
Hey Violet recently released the official video, directed by Ariel Lofaro along with a stop-motion animation lyric video for the track which the band filmed and directed themselves over two days. Billboard premiered the video and deemed the song, “glittery” and Idolator called it, “a future hit and (their) catchiest single yet.”
“Clean” is the fourth new track Hey Violet has released this year. April’s “Better By Myself,” was followed by “Close My Eyes” in June and “Queen Of The Night” in September.
Hey Violet’s 2017 debut album From the Outside featured the singles “Guys My Age,” which has amassed over 300 million global streams, “Break My Heart,” and “Hoodie,” which has surpassed 300 million streams.
