The Michigan-born folk-pop songstress, Hope, can be both soft-spoken, murmuring quiet lyrics with her acoustic guitar — and she can roar like the thunder, allowing her distinct voice to soar on top of instrumental melodies. Beginning her musical journey in her freshman dorm room at Michigan’s Grand Valley State University when she released her debut EP, Hope, back in 2017.
Diving into the music game, Hope brings her sunshine personality and angelic voice to fans through her music. In the ‘Born Again’ video, Hope sings of past sorrows, future endeavors and joys as she travels through the winding roads across the country. “Born Again” was produced by Timothy ‘Bos’ Bullock. He has previous credits with the movie ‘Beats’ on Netflix as well as production for Young Jeezy, Beyonce, and Chris Brown to name a few!
Of the single, Hope states, “it’s about being present and thinking to myself ‘if it was my first day on earth, I wouldn’t be in a rush to understand everything.’ It was a reminder to trust, have patience and embrace everything day by day.“
