Los Angeles-based pop artist Katrina Cain is gearing up for a single release, following a year of writing in her newly adopted city of Los Angeles, a move sparked by her appearances as a competitor on NBC’s The Voice. The release of the single Promised Land on 12/13, will be followed by an EP of the same title, which will include five more brand new songs detailing in grit and honesty her experience starting over in a new city later in life.
Promised Land will be available on Spotify, iTunes, and everywhere music is streamed and sold.
Katrina Cain’s musical career came to life in 2015 with the formation of her band TOMKAT, drawing from the members’ shared love of electronic music, R&B, and dance music. After showcasing at SXSW and sharing stages with the likes of Phantogram, Com Truise, and Sarah Jaffe; Katrina Cain debuted her solo career on the studio stage of NBC’s The Voice. Her newest, Promised Land, deals with rebirth from failure and freedom through loss, and is her most focused and honest material yet!
