Independent artist, Kristine Elezaj, released her newly minted single “Over & Over.” This single embraces her confidence and embodies a new era of musical freedom for her. The song expresses the essence of truly being lost in love; exploring the notion that regardless of how much time has passed in a relationship, there’s always something new that unveils itself. One continues to grow and gets lost in the best and worst moments, Over and Over again.
Kristine got her start at the Sugar Bar in New York City, when songwriter-producer duo Ashford & Simpson (“Ain’t No Mountain High Enough”, “I’m Every Woman”) approached her after performing a rendition of “Respect” by Aretha Franklin. Nick Ashford became Kristine’s mentor; encouraging her to continue writing music and to express herself through her music. Since her debut, Kristine has been developing a lane for herself by consistently writing, working diligently and remaining humble. Publications such as Billboard Magazine have taken notice of Kristine’s undeniable talent, calling her a cross between Britney Spears and Rihanna. Kristine tackled the music industry in 2016 by placing in the Top 20 of Macy’s iHeartRadio Rising Star Contest.
Her distinct sound is refreshingly contemporary, infusing R&B and Pop elements with inclusion of global elements that is desired in the music industry. Kristine is powering through this year as she gears up for the release of the “Over and Over” music video, directed by Jose Omar Hernandez (Justin Bieber’s “Purpose” The Movement”). Already having garnered nearly 300K collective streams on her previous releases, Kristine has no intentions of slowing down for 2018.
