Mina Richman To Release Debut Single “Bad Girls”

On the 18th of February Mina Richman, singer/ songwriter from Bielefeld, Germany, releases her debut single with a music video via Ladies&Ladys Label.

“Bad Girls”, the first single of her EP “Jaywalker” (Release 06.05.22) is about a relationship between two women, which is part fascination and devotion, part control and danger. The song and video tell the story of a protagonist, who slowly but steadily falls for the “bad girl”.

A brief encounter in a museum, turns into a muse-like relationship, moving between pleasure and pain, between “bring the fruit, I’ll bring champagne” and “loving you is my only sin”. A sweet ukulele, a groovy bass, minimalistic percussion, and Mina Richman’s unique and dynamic voice, make you want to dance and sing along in bitter desperation and utter celebration of falling for someone, who you know will hurt you.

In 2021 Mina opened concerts for German singer/songwriters such as Ali Coen and Enno Bunger and the UK based John Blek. With her signature suit, she’s enchanted audiences in sold out venues, such as the Berlin Junction Bar.

“Bad Girls” reflects who Mina Richman is: queer, bravely honest, but always with a smirk on her face. Besides the charming DIY character of the song, “Bad Girls” does primarily one thing: it gets stuck in your head!
