NYC-based alt-pop artist Stella Santana has dropped her new EP ‘Yayaya’, out November 20th. Alongside the launch of the EP, Stella reveals stunning visuals for the lead single ‘Yayaya’.
Touching on the complicated but familiar ups and downs of relationships, the five-track release opens with ‘Steady’, an empowering track about female independence, released as a single back in November 2018. Next up, the EP’s title track is a shimmering, break up song that allows Stella’s vocals to take centre stage. ‘Tell The Truth’ features Brooklyn-based singer and rapper KAMAUU (Atlantic), before the record is closed out by silky singles ‘Show You’, featuring indie New York artist Mama Blue, and ‘All The Time’, featuring Avi Snow (City of the Sun, Verve UMG).
Daughter of musical legend Carlos Santana, Stella Santana launched her music career with 2016 debut album ‘Selfish‘. She has since carved a reputation as an artist in her own right, releasing a string of singles inspired by ideas of female empowerment, self-love and self-realization. With a sound that can be described as a mix of 70’s rock, 90’s R&B and 20’s glamour, Stella’s musical style makes her one-of-a-kind.
A coming-of-age release, ‘Yayaya’ is an EP that looks destined to propel Stella Santana’s musical career to new heights.
