Alt-rock trio The Man Who give a riveting performance of “Down” in the darkly atmospheric official video, released today. Directed by Jen Rosenstein (Bellsaint, Alisan Porter) and shot in the Toronto area, the clip juxtaposes the band’s shadowy performance with an array of brilliant tubes of light suspended above. View HERE. After wrapping up their North American tour with BANNERS this weekend, The Man Who will perform at School Night at Bardot in Hollywood, CA on Monday, December 9. See below for itinerary. “Down” is the leadoff track from the band’s 2019 EP, Bet On You, which was reissued last month with two new tracks – “U” and “Rio Grande.” Available HERE, the EP was produced mainly by Tawgs Salter (USS, Lights) and mixed by Mark “Spike” Stent (Paul McCartney, Coldplay, Chvrches). Clash premiered the title track, “Bet On You,” praising the band’s “crisp songwriting with a blackened edge” while Hillydilly extolled the “singable hooks and perfect, grandiose tones” of “This High.”
