The New Regime, fronted by Ilan Rubin (Nine Inch Nails, Angels & Airwaves), just released “Heart”, the first part of the new album Heart Mind Body & Soul via RED MUSIC. The New Regime’s full-length LP Heart Mind Body & Soul, will be released in four installments between the end of 2019 and the first quarter of 2020.

“People digest music differently and much quicker today than they ever have,” Rubin says, explaining why he chose to release in four parts instead of one full album all at once. “I felt like it would be doing the songs a disservice by releasing everything at once, especially since people seem to enjoy digesting music in small pieces. I’ve really tried to focus on writing songs that I find interesting. If something doesn’t have a deeper meaning or another layer that you didn’t know was there, then why would you keep listening to it? What makes it worth more than a handful of listens? This project in particular feels like a new beginning, even though it’s still me and I’m still writing, playing and singing everything. It feels very fresh and it seems like a completely different thing to me than anything I’ve done before.”
The band is currently on the road with Angels & Airwaves as direct support for their North American fall tour. Fans can expect a high-energy show and to hear new music off the new release, Heart, and forthcoming LP, Heart Mind Body & Soul. Topping it off, Rubin will be serving double duty as the drummer/member of Angels & Airwaves for the full tour. The tour will be hitting major markets such as New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Atlanta and is already sold out for a majority of the tour dates.
